Refillable is creating a tech-enabled reuse-refill-return infrastructure for everyday consumer goods.
Refillable was formed with a vision to eliminate single use plastic packaging by focusing on upstream solutions, i.e. reduce, reuse and refill. We set up reuse and refill systems to enable the circular economy. In 2020, we realised that due to covid there was a rise in the usage of single use plastic packaging by 67% according to a survey done by Earth 5R. Another thing that we noticed was the rise of single use plastic due to doorstep delivery services which we felt is a permanent consumption shift.
Therefore we came up with a solution that combines environmental benefit with convenience.
Refillable is a portable refill truck/zero waste store on wheels that refills home care liquids such as dishwash liquid, laundry liquid at the customer’s doorstep to eliminate any kind of plastic packaging.
We have also designed a zero waste grocery van which dispenses pulses, sugar, salt, etc.
Our refill stations are also deployed at retail stores.
