A set of PLA degradable party coffe tools combined with coffee grist and coffee grounds for experience-based sustainability.

Long description

The idea of degradable coffee cups arises because, in the case of single-use party equipment, the life cycle of single-use cups must be shortened. This is where the idea came from to use PLA (polylactic acid) material instead of PC (polycarbonate). The interesting thing about the project is that it plays with a communication gag: In addition to PLA, I also used coffee grist and coffee grounds. So the cup was already coffee-like in its appearance and smell. Also, the decomposition processes were facilitated by this combine. The smell was basically coffee, even when it was empty. It provides a great experience for users. sustainability and experience together.

The coffee set includes a mug, spoon and small plate.

A hot channel hardened steel tool made for all three objects, which can withstand the alcohol content of PLA.

Technology Readiness Level is 8-9. Ready for wholesale sales internationally.

It is a perfect demonstration model of the make it circular mentality. The model of the circular economy can be well represented with it, while we can easily reach almost all people with it. Because the daily ritual of drinking coffee can be found in almost the entire population. One of the best ways to communicate is to talk about circular transitions over a morning coffee.

Technology, mission and communication at the same time.
