Plantio.Orgânico is a company whose purpose is to spread the habit of composting, making this action a common practice in homes located in urban areas. Every home is a place where organic waste is generated through the preparation and consumption of food. The company’s mission is to turn as many homes as possible into environments in which organic waste is generated and have a sustainable destination through on-site composting, a practice that is nothing more than turning a place of organic waste generation into a place where composting confers sustainable destination of the material, preventing this material from polluting the environment and transforming this potentially polluting material into fertilized land to boost planting. A natural phenomenon that transforms organic waste into fertile soil, which is why we consider composting to be the link in the circular economy, due to its ability to transform waste into matter that allows it to be possible to grow food. By aligning agroecology, design and biotechnology, we developed a method that makes the reuse of organic waste a practical and easy action capable of being implemented in the routine of homes, allowing each house or apartment to be inserted into an immersive experience of circular economy of waste, contributing for the sowing of conscious consumption.
