Long description
The ambitious goal of ‘Coop’ is to encourage chicken raising in suburban households in order to greatly diminish the harmful environmental effects of food waste in landfills, and ultimately reduce the pollution associated with industrial poultry and egg farming. Coop’s role in tackling these broad, complex issues is small, but mighty; to provide educational resources and building materials to first-time chicken owners who want to make a difference and contribute to bettering the health and wellbeing of their community. Coop will provide an easy-to-assemble chicken coop kit fit for two chickens, basic chicken care supplies, and the knowledge needed to start raising chickens.
