IS.NAU is an early-stage startup. Our vision is to be a low-cost participative certification for highly sustainable requirements related to products/operations for the textile and fashion industry. We are going to operate through a platform to integrate micro and small fashion companies – that would not enter the usual certification process because of price, methodology, and bureaucracy – to become active agents of a circular and regenerative fashion value chain.

The participatory certification is based on a Brazilian system that aims to democratise the access of farmers to organic food production and certification. IS.NAU is going to activate, organise and prepare fashion businesses to ensure the sustainability and innovation of services and products of micro and small-size suppliers, and, in a second moment, brands, and retailers in the fashion industry.

As a result, we are going to:

1. map and integrate the ecosystem for problem-solving.
2. Activate the targeted businesses for community participation.
3. Prepare (education and information) fashion people and businesses for sustainability, circularity, and innovation.
4. Certificate the micro and small-size fashion business for circular and sustainable activities.
5. Benchmark the fashion industry.
