Long description
We manufacture solar-ready repurposed lithium-ion batteries from used cells for use in solar energy storage applications targeting low-income off-grid communities in Kenya. This project lowers the overall cost of ownership of solar home systems for these communities by over 50% while at the same time creating circularity in the battery waste value chain
