Kairos’ mission is to inspire the furniture industry to set higher sustainable standards and design accordingly. We want to prove that it is possible to create couches without that foam, sourced and manufactured locally, with a modular design, made to repair and implement future innovations. A Kairos couch will be the last couch you ever buy.

As Kairos, a soon-to-be steward-owned company, we will always strive to keep our products as beautiful and as comfortable as possible. Besides the design, staying in contact with our customers is crucial for our mission. Regular simple maintenance from their side delays the need for repairs and changes their relationship with their furniture. We aim to encourage an attitude that focuses on buying less and taking better care.

If needed, our sofas are easy to maintain, repair or replace because all parts are detachable.

Our couches can stay with our customers throughout their lives. We produce and sell five modules that can be linked together in different ways. Customers can adjust the mounting themselves, allowing them to move their furniture around.

In addition, should a module or full couch ever be abundant, we will offer these items a spot on our sustainable second-hand online platform (currently in development). This way, we can advise on the best way to refurbish the piece if needed. We will always buy back our modules so it does not end up as waste.
