Loopcycle is a tech platform that establishes a circular economy for high-value assets (equipment, furniture, etc.) throughout their lifecycle. By tracking and tracing products and establishing a connection between all stakeholders in the supply chain, data is shared for optimization, maintenance, reuse, and recycling of valuable materials. Loopcycle can be introduced at any stage in a product’s lifecycle, but early implementation in the design stage establishes the circularity of virtually any product, commercial or consumer. This radically augments the circular potential of our future.

Each product is given a unique QR code and digital twin in the platform, which allows operators to manage, maintain, and resell their assets, and manufacturers to locate, provide services, and recover them.

For individual operators, the greatest benefits are asset management efficiency and opportunities for additional income through the built-in marketplace. For manufacturers, the greatest benefit is locating their products sold through third parties in order to provide warranty services and recover products at end-of-life.

Additionally, tracking products allows for better understanding of carbon emissions by providing data for Scope 2/3 carbon reporting. A built-in carbon reporting system shows the transport emissions for any given product provenance on the Loopcycle platform – with embodied carbon calculations in development.

The systemic benefit to Loopcycle is that deeper circularity of our production-consumption system is advanced with simple changes to habits that promote valuation of materials already in circulation. The circular economy becomes transparent, communicated, and accessible across any industry.
