The enterprise enables banana farmers to earn an extra income from banana biomass, creates job opportunities for disadvantaged youth, and promotes eco-friendly fashion trends. Our state-of-the-art center is a one-stop center for banana fiber production and extraction, empowering Youth with hands-On skills to make Fashionable products. The center offers a market for already-made banana fiber products.

The enterprise has been able in a position to carry out research for the past 6 years on how they can turn banana bio-mass into sustainable material, this research yielded positive results for Commune Fabric which address the challenges in fast fashion and climate change to make sure that we don’t leave anyone behind, we have established community empowering program ie Hands-On Skills, Developed fashionable products to mitigate the challenges.
