Nashun is an inclusive brand that seeks to preserve ancestral techniques in collaboration with teachers and master craftsmen, from a circular economy and sustainability approach through innovation and design as a tool for social and environmental transformation in Zapotec communities in Oaxaca.

In the community of Teotitlán del Valle, it is in the community where we were born and raised, here we develop beds and home accessories such as rugs with contemporary designs, made with Creole sheep wool pigmented with natural ingredients that we collect in our crops and mountains.

In San Juan Guelavia we work with master craftsmen to weave the design of the nashun bed with the “reed” which is a natural fiber that grows next to rivers.

At Santa Maria Atzompa we work with master artisans who have dedicated themselves to traditional pottery for generations. With the Nashun project we are achieving the preservation of this technique and in order for it to survive and be self-sustaining, we have adapted the designs to a contemporary world.
