Gowasteline is a social enterprise that champions plastic waste collection and recycling services, it addresses the issue of poverty, unemployment, and climate change challenges by using plastic waste as a currency to exchange value. Leveraging technology, our business provides people living in indigent communities with the opportunity to capture value from their waste to live healthier lives. Our users earn green points for every plastic waste deposited with us which can be redeemed as cash for health insurance, food items, school fees, or funds to start a micro business. Recovered plastics are sorted, preprocessed, and recycled into pavement blocks used for ground flooring.
