PLASTIC WASTE RECYCLING

Looking at the climate, environment and the Nation’s Economy, there has been climatic Change Which is associated with human activities such as waste disposal and accumulation over a long period of time.

Waste cause emission of green gas to the atmosphere and affects the balance in the climate, Pollution on the Land, Sea and Air, causing harm to habitats and the environment.

Research from united nation environmental program (UNEP) shows that humanity produces 460 million tons of plastic annually, most of which ends in the environment as waste.

With about 2.5 million tonnes of plastic waste annually, Nigeria ranks ninth globally among countries with the highest contributions to plastic pollution. Unfortunately, over 88% of the plastic waste generated in Nigeria is not recycled

My proposal is to design a system where plastic waste is removed from the environment and placed circular system for continues production of beneficial materials for building construction such as plastic pipes as well as feed materials for other plastic manufacturing industry

Plastic waste are collected from the environment, sorted , cleaned, shredded & extruded into pallets then building materials such as plastic pipes are further manufactured as well as feed for other plastic manufacturing industries
