Long description
Rethink Softly is a collaboration of designers from different disciplines, academicians, companies and material researchers to rethink the way we make our soft seating furniture. Designers, design studios, students, academicians and companies from different countries are ready to research the best circular solutions to serve high comfort with a zero use of PU foam.
We will research and experiment this on a creative international level from different perspectives, known as biomimicry, contribution of nature like mycelium, algues and bacteria, and the use of local Turkish resources and industrial byproducts. Only when we intensely explore different fields we will be able to forces strengths, make crossovers, compare to gain knowledge for the best solution of soft furniture future.
