SPORA sustainable furniture

Long description

Based on a modular design, Spora is a disassembled table that achieves a significant production efficiency and portability due to its extreme lightness which directly impacts on the sustainability of the product. Its unique engineering of materials maximizes the qualities of each component which makes possible to reduce its volume and, most important, it increases the useful life of the table compared to other furniture products.

Within its fourth iteration, special attention is paid to the responsible use of materials by working with certified wood and boards made from recycled materials such as scrap wood left over from carpentry workshops.

Spora (from the greek term ‘sporá’= growing from seed spreading) as a metaphore of seed and dissemination, allows easy moving in and out which meets a contemporary need within a population in constant move and change.
