Circular Fiber produces a sustainable flour (from artichokes agri-waste) and nutraceutical products, protecting biodiversity, health and the territory
Long description
Circular Fiber SRL wants to seize the opportunity to transform agri-waste, such as industrial processing waste, into new valuable products.
The market opportunity we saw was to transform a highly perishable product, such as artichoke waste, into a product such as flour which, after an innovative production process, has a shelf life of up to three years.
Circular Fiber produces a flour and nutraceutical products, protecting biodiversity, health and the territory. Karshof branded flour is the only flour potentially that has a Carbon Foot Print -50% and a Water Foot Print -90% compared to ALL the flours on the market (not forgetting the additional beneficial factors of the artichoke). We aim to eliminate waste and pollution. We have patented our process and product. There are no competitors that can transform the waste from the artichokes canning industry into a flour (the biggest producer of artichokes is a shareholder of the company). MVP done with Pasta and bread.
The artichoke has always been known for its purifying and digestive properties and its flour therefore fits well in a context of products dedicated to nutraceuticals.
Through the circular economy, we would like to bring innovative and alternative products to the market and make them (over time) usable by everyone.
