Recicloso is a laboratory that analyzes, experiments, and prototypes solutions to the demands generated by the life cycle of plastic.
With the Sustainable Metamorphosis program, our vision is to instill communities that are aware of the use and segregation of disused plastic and promote circular processes in interventions, integrating digital and artisan processes.
First of all, we look for the adoption of a Recicloso-Container from an institution, community, or school. In order to collect specific types of plastic waste (HDPE, LDPE, PP). To achieve this we show and communicate to the most quantity of participants what are the features and differences of the types of plastic. In approximately one month, the container is full. And we start to process the plastic into boards. We design a Dynamic workshop to gather community involvement in the process to prototype together a pilot object or furniture to use and test for all of us.
We have as an ally the FabLab Uni, in which workshop we develop the prototypes.
At this stage of the program, we are focusing on the paperwork that these entities and local municipalities are demanding to develop because it is an urban-scale collecting and movement of neighbors.
