Swatchloop is a waste management platform where digital classification and tracking of wastes are made in order to ensure more efficient recycling of textile wastes.

Every year, 92 million tons of textile waste is generated. While 95% of these wastes are recyclable, today only 15% is recycled and the remaining 85% is buried or incinerated. Less than 1% of what is recycled is efficiently recycled from textile to textile in a value-added manner. This is because textile wastes are not classified properly and valuable wastes are mixed with worthless ones. A solution will be found with Swatchloop, which enables efficient recycling by means of digital classification of wastes and combining wastes digitally, and tracking the waste with the digital code in the system.

“Swatchloop” has a machine learning-supported technological infrastructure that facilitates waste classification processes with QR code in order to reduce recycling costs and save time, in order for all textile wastes to participate in the circular economy-industrial symbiosis. It is a web-based multi-tenant platform in microservice architecture that enables data to be processed and analyzed to increase user awareness.
