The PurpoCE Rewards Program

PurpoCE is a management and rewards program that connects consumers to their local green businesses and make it more rewarding for supporting them. It is a coalition loyalty program that focuses on rewarding loyalty not to a specific brand, but to sustainability itself.

Member businesses are chosen according to their sustainability (eg. ESG rating), and may vary depending on the consumer’s location. Members are not only comprised of sellers of goods/services, but also of businesses such as your local informal recycling center (if available) and rental shops. Customers could also earn rewards not only through buying stuff, but also through other kinds of product exchanges, like donating through a partner donation center.

PurpoCE will be developed like any other coalition loyalty/rewards program. The only difference will be the following:

1. Partner businesses are chosen according to sustainability instead of brand affiliations;

2. Participating businesses/shops will vary according to location of user;

3. Partners are not limited to businesses that sell goods, but also includes services like repair shops and recycling centers;

4. Earning rewards are not exclusive through doing monetary transactions (consumers can earn points by donating, reselling or renting stuff);

5. The app will also serve as an organizer or data manager that will help its users keep track of their material consumption and usage (data collected through the app is transparent and available for its users);
