Toyi is an eco-friendly creative building kit that enables children to transform everyday objects around them into unique toys. It is a new building system to incorporate daily objects into the play process. With a kit consisting of wheels, feet, hands, eyes, joints, sticks, and flexible connectors, kids aged 6+ can transform any object around them into a toy of their own creation. Without step-by-step instructions and enabling children to incorporate their interests into the play experience Toyi gives priority to children’s need, supports free play and helps children to become the person they want to be by using their creativity.

In an unpredictable and fast-changing world, enabling children to address the challenges of the future is critical. To this end, we need to offer children experiences that allow them to develop their own solutions when faced with a problem. The idea of Toyi was to design a tool for all children regardless of their sex, language, geographical location, the socio-economic status to allow them to design their own unlimited number of toys instead of providing a ready-made toy. With its open-ended play experience, Toyi enables children to find their unique solutions to create a toy, discover themselves, and realize their creative potential.
