Urucuna is a Home and Wellness company that seeks to promote sustainability, biodiversity, and reconnecting people with nature. Through their handmade biodegradable and natural massage candles, Urucuna aims to stimulate physical, emotional, and spiritual wellbeing while promoting the sustainable use of resources.

Urucuna is committed to ethical trade, purchasing forest-based raw materials from certified cooperatives of extractivists from sustainable forest management in the Amazon. They pay fair prices to support the socioeconomic development of traditional communities and protect the rainforest and cultural aspects. Additionally, they have a partnership with indigenous people in Brazil to create their packages using local biomaterials, seeds, and shells, following the principles of circular bioeconomy.

Urucuna offers natural scented candles in Brazil nut shells and tucumã seed, a collaboration with over four different indigenous communities from the Amazon Rainforest. They also developed a scented candle line with hand-woven bag packages designed by women indigenous artisans, featuring unique geometric patterns.

Through their work, Urucuna has directly impacted over 81 indigenous artisans from nine different communities and indirectly preserved 23 million hectares. Urucuna has innovated the home care market with their sustainable and ethical products, promoting a healthy and sustainable lifestyle while protecting and valuing the natural world.

Urucuna works with indigenous communities to co-create natural candles that promote the biodiversity and economic potential of the region. We also provide workshops on management, pricing, and social networking to empower and stimulate the local bioeconomy.
