In Sierra Leone, there is only 23% electricity access nationwide and only 4% access across rural communities, Africa over seven hundred million African lack access to electricity supply, and far reached and deprived communities suffer the most majority of these households are using firewood, kerosene lamps and other traditional options of generating energy, these causes lots of health-related issues, the Exposure to smoke from traditional cooking and Lighting is causing over 1.9 Million deaths ever years consider as deathly as HIV/Aids and Malaria and the CO2 from cooking from firewood is more dangerous than smoking cigarette and causes climate change that is destroying the ozone layer, an average Sierra Leonean lives below $1,25 a day, there is low food production and the majority of our agriculture foodstuffs are imported.
