Zero Burn aims to take the production cutting waste and discarded products of the PET-felt industry back into the chain.
Long description
The PET-felt industry takes about 50% recycled PET into their production. Fibers made from PET-packaging are mixed with virgin PET fibers and processed into felt material for interior acoustic and decorative use. However these productions create about 8 tones cutting production lost per month a supplier. Neither discarded products can be taken back for recycling at the moment. Now all goes to stake and therefor harms the environment and people around us.
Zero Burn aims to take these rest materials back into the chain. Already about 150 material tests have been made over the past 1,5 year in 3 different countries. The biggest success was found in the technique of shredding the leftovers and pressing them back into panels without any glue and only heat and cold technique.
